Are impending ingredient tariffs affecting your food business?

Trump’s trade war is starting to have some consequences. In a response to U.S. tariffs on things such as steel and tech goods, trade partners like Canada, China, the Europe have imposed some tariffs of their own on a wide array of goods. Some major examples are food products like coffee, whiskey and produce. Everyone from economics professors to fellow politicians have warned of the effects of these tariffs, but now we are starting to see them come to fruition. In April, China began imposing tariffs on U.S. goods which will hit the U.S. the hardest.  Check out this partial list of ingredient tariffs that could affect your business plan this year.
